Women of Orwell

Women of Orwell, known as WOW, is a fun, sociable and independent community group. It is the perfect forum in which to learn and socialise as we enjoy a varied and exciting range of activities. We meet monthly, on every second Thursday, in the Village Hall at 8.00pm. Everyone is welcome.

We have had some lively meetings recently including a stirring talk on Boudicca by archaeologist Paddy Lambert in February and an energetic and most memorable Bolleywood dance evening in March.

Our April meeting  had an Easter theme, including chocolate tasting, a bonnet competition (won by Mandy Carter) and a quiz and was rounded off with an Easter Bonnet Parade. May 12th will be a Greek night with Cretan food, music and perhaps dancing.
